Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the February GSF Blog Hop!

This month we are focused on something FREE. This means something FREE from the Sale-A-Bration brochure or a project that does not use any stamps

Today I am sharing a Sale-A-Bration Level 1 (FREE with a $50 purchase) product, Day At The Farm 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). Some of the images can be cut out using the On The Farm Dies. The On The Farm Bundle is really great for scene building on a card. This time I have chosen to build my 1st scene on a Mini Slimline Card. I enjoy creating these cards. I have even managed to extend one of my Stitched Rectangles Dies to have a Stitched Rectangle layer for these cards. I do like stitching on my cards. I think you will have a lot of fun creating with this bundle.

My card base is Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. The card front is Basic White Cardstock that I have colored with a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue Ink. I stamped the farmland hills with Pear Pizzaz Ink on Pear Pizzazz Cardstock then stamped the grass here and there on the hills. I used my Snips to cut this layer out and adhered it to the bottom of the card front. I colored the trees with Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers. The chicken with Daffodil Delight Blends and the Barn & Silo with Cherry Cobbler & Crumb Cake Blends. The piggies and the flower have been die cut from the Day At The Farm DSP.  I stamped the clouds with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (I just noticed the left clouds have not been adhered in place and are slightly crooked. I have to fix that), then die cut them, the middle cloud has been cut with my Snips from the die cut clouds. I stamped the grass a couple of times on a 1" strip of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and cut them out with my Snips. These were added to both ends of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped my sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink, then die cut it with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I finished this project with a Linen Thread bow.

Because I  know you will want the measurements. LOL

Comments

  1. This bundle and paper are not at all my style, but I really love this card! Your handmade envelope is so nice, with the Tear & Tape there for easy sealing. And I love how you always take a bit of the card design to the inside. Thanks for sharing :-D
