New At SU! Blog Hop: Handcrafted Hearts

Welcome to the New At SU! January 2026 Blog Hop!

This month we are creating projects that focus on Love, Weddings, Anniversaries &Valentine's. Today I am sharing projects I have made for Valentine's Day. I have made a gift card holder and a new treat box.

This is just a simple Gift Card Holder. I have used the Valentine Kisses Bundle, Made With Love Designer Series Paper (DSP), the Textured Notes Dies & the Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder to make this project.

I stamped all of the images with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. The outside sentiment has been heat embossed with White Wow Embossing Powder. The sentiment on the inside has been stamped with Real Red Ink.

For my second project I have made a Treat box to fit the Little Debbie Valentine Cakes. The box is made with Real Red Cardstock and trimmed with the Made with Love DSP and Basic White Cardstock. The oh so adorable kissing booth is die cut from Real Red Cardstock. The scalloped border is Bubble Bath Cardstock. I used Basic White cardstock for the die cut hanging sign.

Did you notice the frosting on the heart cakes is a close color match for the Bubble Bath color in the DSP? The box opens on the top. and I have tied a bow around it using the Bubble Bath 1/8" Faux Linen Ribbon and Real Red & White Baker's Twine.

I hope you have enjoyed my take on this month's Handcrafted Hearts theme. Now I will sent you on to your next hop stop. Please follow along the entire hop to see all of the inspiration we provide for you. And please leave a comment we really enjoy reading them. Have a great day!

  1. I looked at those heart cakes at the store and wondered what I could create to hold them- thanks for the SWEET inspiration, and the kissing bear is one of my favorites of all time.
