Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop: Easter

Welcome to the March Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! Whether you came here from Karen's blog or just got started with my blog, I hope you enjoy what I have made for an Easter card, which by the way is our theme for this month. My name is Jan Musselman and I am an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator. The Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop is a group of demonstrators from all over the world who get together once a month to bring you some inspiration with our contributions to the hop. This month marks the end of our Sale-a-Bration promotion. There is only a couple of weeks left. So I decided to create a Lasting Lily Easter card. Just a little bit different, I know, but I think it turned out quite well. So I have also included the Lily Framelits, Part of our Sale-A-Bration (SAB) Coordination promotion. I don't know about you but I would always rather have a coordinating set of dies to do my cutting for me.

I started with the SAB Lasting Lily Stamp Set. I stamped my Lillies with Daffodil Delight. I stamped the leaves and stems with Pear Pizzazz. I adhered them together with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then created my sentiment banner by cutting some So Saffron Cardstock with the second smallest narrow Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I cut the right end with the Tailored Tag Punch ( I love that this punch can double as a Fishtailed Tag punch). I stamped the Easter Blessings from the Itty Bitty Greetings with Old Olive Ink. Then I cut it apart. Next used a die from the Well Written Framelits to cut "wishes" from Old Olive Cardstock. I adhered the Easter & the Wishes to the Sentiment banner. My Card Front was Dry Embossed with the Subtle DTIEF (Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder). Then using the largest narrow Rectangle Stitched Framelit, I cut the window. I added Adhesive Strips around the outside edge of the Card Front and around the window opening. I tucked in my Lilies on the right side, they stuck to the Adhesive strips right nicely. Adhered the Sentiment Banner to the Card Front with Liquid Glue & topped it off with a few Iridescent Sequins. I used some Grapefruit Grove Foil to mat my Card Front with. The card Base is Grapefruit Grove as well. The Inside layer has a sentiment from the Hold Onto Hope stamp set.

Now it is time to head over to Ximena's blog and see what Easter Inspiration she has for you. You can click on the graphic below and be transported to her blog.

March 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop / Theme: Bye Bye Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to the 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop! We are saying goodbye to our Sale-A-Bration Products this month. It's been quite a wild ride. So many of the products sold out in record time. During the month of March, while supplies last, we were able to purchase dies to go with some of our Sale-A-Bration products. Of course the Hop Around Framelits for the So Hoppy Together stamp set were the 1st to sell out. Wow, that was fast.

My project today uses a few of our Sale-a-Bration Products. But I also pulled in a couple of elements from the Lily Pad Lake set. I started by stamping the So Hoppy Together images with Basic Black Ink and then heat embossed the images quickly with Clear Stampin' Emboss powder on Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Did you know that you can heat emboss with most of our Classic Ink colors. It creates a very fine detail which I just love. I cut the images out with the Hop Around Framelits, a Sale-A-Bration Coordination product. Using my Aqua Painter Brushes, I colored the frogs with Granny Apple Green Ink. The little bug has a Granny Apple Green body and Daffodil Delight eyes. For the Card Front I decided to try out the Glossy Cardstock. I Stamped the water area with the water stamp from Lily Pad Lake using Granny Apple Green again. Then I went over it with a very wet brush to blend the color out a little. The sky is a wash of Balmy Blue Ink. The Greenery (from the Lily Pad Lake set) and the Lily Pads are Granny Apple Green Cardstock. I added a little Old Olive Ink with the Aqua Painter to create a little dimension. The Water Lillies are colored with Melon Mambo Ink. The Sentiment is from the Part of My Story Sale-A-Bration (SAB) stamp set and the die I used to cut this out comes from the Lily Framelits another Sale-A-Bration Coordination limited release product that coordinates with the Lasting Lily SAB set. I put this all together on a Card Base of Melon Mambo. This card definitely made me giggle.

There are still some Sale-A-Bration sets available through the month of March, while supplies last. If you have your I on something, don't wait too long to purchase it. I hope you enjoyed my last look at some of our Sale-A-Bration products.

Now it is time top on over to Rebecca-Jo's blog and see what Sale-A-Bration inspiration she has for you.

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop: Birthdays

Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! We are  group of Stampin' Up demonstrators from all over the world who love to share what we create with Stampin' Up products. If you have arrived here from Marieke Bart's blog my name is Jan Musselman and I have a new Birthday card to share with you today.

The How Sweet It Is Suite of products has so many great things to play with. I am only showing you one possibility today. I chose to fussy cut the cupcake, sucker, candy and gummy bear from one of the 12 x 12 How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper (AKA DSP). I layered them up on one of the  Whisper White Stitched Rectangles, popping up the cupcake on Dimensionals. I heat embossed the Melon Mambo Sentiment Label with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
You can put both stamps on one block and stamp them with VersaMark Ink. Time saver, I think so. I cut this out with the coordinating die in the Jar Of Sweets Framelits ( if you purchase the stamp set & framelits together in the bundle you can save 10%). I adhered this to the Stitched Rectangle with Liquid Glue. I popped up the completed Rectangle with Dimensionals on the DSP Card Front. Then adhered the Card Front to the Gorgeous Grape Card Base.

I am sure you have seen the New Sal-A-Bration products coming on the 15th of this month. If not take a look at the photos posted below this post. I am very excited about the Limited-Release dies that will be available for  the month of March while supplies last.
