3rd Thusdays Blog Hop: Last Minute Lucy!

Welcome to the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop! Our theme for this month is Last Minute Lucy. How cute is that? What does it mean? Our intention is to focus on things like stocking stuffers, little packaging things, cute little gift bags, gift card holders, gift tags, that type of thing. I love it!

For me, I'm going to share the Gift Tags we made at the class I did on the 14th. I have been making special gift tags for the last 2 or 3 years. It has become a thing in my family. They collect them, re-use them, try to remember when I 1st made them. You get the idea.

The Middle tag uses the Peaceful Boughs Bundle. I set this up on my Stamparatus to stamp the Sentiment on the bottom and the 2 Pine Boughs. The Sentiment is Soft Suede Ink and the branches are Old Olive Ink. The Die Cut Pine Boughs are Mossy Meadow Cardstock. The Pinecones are Soft Suede on the bottom and Copper Foil on the top. The Tag base is Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock.

The Tag on the Left has a base of Pretty Peacock Cardstock. The Stitched Rectangle is Very Vanilla that has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I used the Gleaming  Ornaments Punch Pack to punch the ornaments from the Brightly Gleaming SDSp. The Holly Jolly Sentiment is from the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set and is Die Cut with the Stitched Circle from the Stitched Labels Dies. The Pine Boughs are again Mossy Meadow Cardstock. The Ornament Tops are Copper Foil. The Holly Jolly Ink is Pretty Peacock.

The Tag on the Right has a base of Cherry Cobbler that has been embossed with the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder. The Stitched Rectangle is Whisper White. the Tree has been punched with the Pine Tree Punch on the Wrapped In Plaid SDSP. Matted with a Gold Foil Pine Tree. The Sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and is stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink.

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop: Sale-A-Bration/Mini Catalog

Welcome to the December Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! Our theme this month revolves around the new 2020 Jan-Jun Mini Catalog & the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. So, my project for today is a Sneak Peak of products available starting January 3rd, 2020.

My project uses the Honey Bee Bundle from the new January-June Mini Catalog. I have always loved bees, dragonflies & butterflies. So choosing this bundle was an easy choice and I earned the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure too (FREE with a $50 purchase). I predict this SDSP will be the 1st thing to sell out. It is so beautiful! The colors are Metallic Gold, Black & White. When you click on the photo and see the close up you will see that this is one of Stampin' Up!s DistINKtive  stamp sets. I LOVE these sets. The almost photo realistic look of these elements adds so much to the stamped image.

I stamped the Bee Hive with Daffodil Delight (stamped off once). Used the coordinating Die to cut it out. Then I stamped the small Bee & the right handed Flower with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Die cut both with the coordinating dies. Colored the Bee body with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. Colored the Flowers with Light Purple Posy Stampin' Blends. I stamped the "Wishing You Sunshine & Happiness" with Basic Black Ink and then cut it with the largest Stitched Shapes Circle. I used my small Aqua Painter & Pear Pizzaz Ink (using my Stampin' Write Marker scribbled onto a block) to add some greenery under the Hive. I think you can see how I put this together. Dimensionals under the Sentiment Banner, Hive and the SDSP Banner.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!🎄
Now it is time to travel on to the next Blog to see what she has to inspire you.

December 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop Theme: Christmas

Welcome to the December 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop! Our theme for this month is Christmas. I have chosen one of the many Christmas cards I have made in the last few weeks. I have used the Cup of Christmas and the Toile Christmas Bundles to create this Card.

I removed the Cup Handle from the cup and added the Diagonal Striped Die cut in Shaded Spruce to it. So now I have a cup full of Candy Canes. The Christmas Wishes Stamp and Die from the Toile Christmas Bundle is a gorgeous addition to the front of the cup. You can't see it in this photo but I curled the cup and the Sentiment banner a little to add some dimension to this piece. I mounted the Cup of Candy Canes ona Stitched Rectangle and then matted that on a Cherry Cobbler rectangle that has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. The Card Front is from the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

I hope you have a very happy holiday season this year and I thank you for stopping by my blog to take a look at what I have made. Now it is time to travel on to Angie's Blog to see what wonderful inspiration she has for you to see.
