Paper Craft Crew Challenge - PCC467

.

Welcome to this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge!

This week we have a sketch, PCC467, for you to play with. The sketch was cased from the cover of our
new Annual 2022-2023 Catalog. This catalog will go live on May 3rd. This is not the 1st card I have made with the gorgeous Hues of Happiness Suite Collection. You can see the gift card holder that I made HERE. The flowers and leaf clusters on this card have been die cut from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is something that Stampin' Up! does that is so cool. I did stamp the largest floral image all over my card front. I wanted something not too terribly busy here. This left the focus on the flowers.

I hope you liked my take on this weeks sketch. You too, can also participate in this fun weekly challenge. Just create a project using this weeks sketch and post it to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge Blog.

Third Thursdays Blog Hop - Mix & Match

Welcome to April's 3rd Thursdays Bog Hop!

This month's theme is Mix & Match. Looking at the retiring products or new products or mixing old with new. Well today I am sharing 3 new products that will be available beginning May 3rd or if you joined Stampin' Up! now you could include these products in your starter kit and order them today and save 20% on future purchases. I became a Demonstrator to receive the discount on my Stampin' Up! purchases 6 years ago. I just believe the products are the best in the Paper Crafting industry.

The Sun Prints Suite Collection includes the Nature's Prints Stamp Set and the coordinating Natural Prints Dies (purchase the bundle and save 10%). The Sun Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP) & the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I have also used the Stylish Shapes Dies & the Glossy Dots Assortment.

The card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock. The card front is Basic White Cardstock that has been embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Using the Stylish Shapes Circles I die cut circles in various sizes from the Sun Prints DSP. I stamped the Fern image with the new Starry Sky Ink, and the Wheat Stalk & Flower images with Crushed Curry Ink.The sentiment was stamped with Starry Sky ink too. I die cut all of these elements with the Natural Prints Dies. The circles were popped up on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I popped up the fern with Dimensionals on the circles. I popped up the sentiment label with dimensionals too. I use Mini Glue dots to adhere the Wheat Stalk and the flower behind the fern. I add a few Glossy Dots to embellish this project. The inside layer was also stamped with another fern image in Starry Sky Ink.

I hope you enjoyed my 1st play with this gorgeous suite collection.
Now I will send you on to your next blog hop stop.

I won't have product links for the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog until May 3rd

Paper Craft Crew Challenge - PCC467

Welcome to this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge!

This week we have a sketch, PCC467, for you to play with. I totally love how this card came out.
Sometimes a sketch can really jump start your creativity. I have used a mix of retiring products and new products in this project. The card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock. My card front is Night of Navy Cardstock  that I embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder. I also die cut the card front with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I scraped my White Craft Ink pad over the surface of the die cut before I matted the card front on So Saffron Cardstock. I die cut a Basic White doily using one of the smaller Encircled in Beauty Dies (Retiring). I popped the doily up on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used one of the Tea Cup Dies (New) to die cut  a tea cup from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is also a new product. The leaves in the tea cup are also die cut from this DSP. The little tag, From the Meadow Dies has been stamped with Starry Sky Ink (New 2022-2024 In Color). The sentiments on the tag and on the inside layer are from the Cup Of Tea Stamp Set (New). The striped strip is from the Sun Prints DSP (New). The Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon is also a new product. I added some new Glossy Dots to the finished card.

I hope you liked my take on this weeks sketch.

We have a Free For All theme for this month. Which means we can choose anything we want to create for you this time. I am still showing projects made from my Pre Order products from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, that goes live on May 3rd. For my Mini Slimline Card I am using 3 new In Colors along with the Sending Smiles Bundle. My last blog post, HERE, showcased the Sentiments and Sentiment Dies in this bundle. Today's card features the Floral Images & Dies. I am calling this a Build A Flower collection of images. You have flower heads and leaves & stems to play with.

Card Front: 2022-2024 In Color DSP - 3" x 6"

Embossed Stitched Rectangle: Basic White Cardstock - 1 11/16" v 3 11/16"

Paper Craft Crew Challenge - PCC466

Welcome to this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge!

This week we have a theme challenge for you to play with. This week we want you to create a mosaic. I admit to being a little stumped with this one. But doing a quick search on Pinterest yielded just what I wanted. You can see Kylie's Mosaic cards HERE. and she has a video you can watch too.

I started with the Hand - Penned Designer Series Paper (DSP). I cut 1" strips from this DSP scraps and
then cut the strips every which away. I added an Adhesive Sheet to a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White Cardstock. Then laid out all of my pieces. Trimmed the sides & heat embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. This made it look like grout. The finished mosaic piece is matted on Highland Heather Cardstock. The card Base is Basic White Thick Cardstock. My sentiments come from a new bundle called Sending Smiles. It also has some Build a Flower elements you can stamp and die cut too. Today I just used the beautiful shadow backed Sending die cut and the Happy Birthday sentiment. I am a big fan of this sentiment style. I finished with some White 1/4" Crinkles Seam Binding Ribbon & a few Iridescent Basic Rhinestones.

I hope you liked my take on this weeks theme. You too, can also participate in this fun weekly challenge. Just create a project using this weeks theme and post it to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge Blog.
