This week we have a vertical sketch, PCC504, for you to play with this week. I had already decided to
create something with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set, a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with a $100 purchase, when I found this sketch had been posted for this weeks challenge. I have always liked cards that displayed a die cut element that seemed to grow right out of the die cut ( flowers of course). The Framed Florets Dies have totally allowed for this look. the Beautifully Happy stamp set is a Two-Step Stamp Set, and I love Two-Step Stamp Sets. So after I stamped the main floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then stamped the flowers with Fresh Freesia Ink and the leaves with Shaded Spruce Ink I used my Scan n Cut to cut out the floral images. Then I took 2 Basic White card front layers and die cut one with the Framed Florets dies. this gave me an oval frame and an oval. I set aside the oval frame for another project and I stamped the small floral image with Fresh Freesia Ink all over the Basic White Oval die cut. Then used a Blending Brush to add a little Fresh Freesia Ink to the oval too. I embossed the die cut Basic White card front with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder. I put the 2 Basic white layers together and adhered the stamped oval in place on the 2nd Basic white layer through the 1st die cut layer. I die cut the Fresh Freesia card front mat with the Framed Florets die and this time discarded the Oval and kept the Fresh Freesia Frame. I turned over the Embossed card front and adhered the Fresh Freesia Frame in place with Stampin' Dimensionals, added a lot of Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the embossed card front and adhered this to the Basic White Mat. I then adhered the large floral image, tucking the lower stem into the oval cut out, to the embossed card front with Stampin' Dimensionals on the left and Mini Glue Dots on the right. The sentiment was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink. I kept this a little low to leave room for the little bee which was colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I matted the sentiment with a scrap of Fresh Freesia Cardstock and adhered the finished sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I have colored the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Marker and then adhered them to the card front.
