When I was creating the
On The Farm Mini Slimline Card last week I wondered if I could create another
Hexagon Pop Up Card similar to the other one I had created back in August. Well, yes I think I did it. I used the Sale-A-Bration Day At The Farm 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). Some of the images have been die cut using the On The Farm Dies and some have been fussy cut with my scissors. I started with the back layer ( layer might not be the right word for the platform ) placing the little barn & silo up on a hill that has been stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink on Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. I added some trees to both sides of the barn . The middle area holds the die cut cow, sheep & flower. The front has the cute little piggies and a chicken.The middle area has a low rolling hill appearance that I had die cut using the On The Farm Dies. I wish I had added the grass stamp to this area as I did to the front area. But, oh well maybe on the next one. The hexagon platform is made from Crumb Cake Cardstock ( My thanks go out to
Marcie Besecker & Kathy's Random Acts Of Stamping for the inspiration and tutorials that inspired me to make another cute hexagon pop up card without dies ). I used the marvelous Cherry Cobbler Plaid DSP from the Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper to decorate the outside of the pop up card.
I did not decorate the back of the pop up card, but you certainly could and add a Basic White die cut to the center back for a sentiment area.
The sentiment on the front if from another super cute Sale-A-Bration set, the Thanks A Bunch Stamp Set. I die cut this out with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Matted it on Crumb Cake Cardstock and popped it up on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added one of my Brushed Brass Butterflies to embellish the die cut.
