Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - March 2021

Welcome to the March Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!
Our theme for this month is Spring or Easter.

Spring doesn't really start where I live in Evergreen, CO until mid May. I can't even think about planting
anything new in my flower bed until after June 1st. But I love flowers wether they are in my flower bed or in my stamp collection. Yesterday I sat and stamped and die cut many of the flowers available in the Pretty Perennials Bundle. I wasn't sure just what I was going to do with them until I saw this weeks sketch on the TGIF Challenge Blog. So I started with a Painted Texture 3D embossed piece of Basic White Cardstock. Then I die cut that with the second largest Stitched Rectangles Dies. Using a Blending Brush and some Pool Party Ink I added some color to the stitched embossed rectangle. I then embossed another piece of Basic White with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and die cut this with the Stitched Shapes Circle dies. From there I just started adding flowers and leaves until I was happy with the arrangement. The sentiments come from the Springtime Joy stamp set.

I hope that you liked my Spring inspiration. Now we need to check out what Spring or Easter inspiration Shel has to inspire you.

  2. Love your card, Jan! I have to tell you... I moved to Colorado many years ago when I was 20 and my dream was to live in Evergreen!! I just couldn't make it work, though, because I also wanted to work at Denver Children's Hospital. Met my husband, learned to ski & drive in the snow, then moved back to Hawaii. Just wanted to share my story when I saw you were from Evergreen!!

  5. Pretty card. I live in Englewood and know exactly what you mean about the weather. As far as I’m concerned these big snow storms can stop for the rest of the month. Lol
