Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - Technique Challenge

Welcome to the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!

This challenge revolves around how many ways you can use your dies. I chose one of the easiest. I started by adhering an Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (DSP) that I had cut down to the size of the large Two-Tone Flora Die. I die cut that piece and adhered it to some Orchid Oasis Cardstock. Then I cut that down to a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" Rectangle. Then cut this into 3 pieces leaving a 1/8" gap. This sort of looks like a window pane. In hind site I think I should have used Basic White Cardstock behind my panel cuts (I adhered the panel cuts to another 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of Orchid Oasis). This was then layered onto a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White Cardstock. The card base is Orchid Oasis Cardstock. My sentiment and the label it was stamped on is from the coordinating Something Fancy Bundle and matted onto a Vellum label die cut. I heat embossed the sentiment with the White Embossing Powder. The flower is stamped with Fresh Freesia Ink (the detail stamp is stamped full strength and the filler stamp is stamped off once, creating a lighter color). The greenery die cuts are stamped with Soft Succulent. I added a White Crinkled Seam Binding Bow and a few Iridescent Pastel Gems to embellish my finished card.

Now, I know I will be looking forward to seeing the other die cutting ways that we will see on the stops along our blog hop for this month. So please continue on to the next stop by clicking on the NEXT blog graphic below.
