Global Stamping Friends - Time Marches On

Welcome to the March GSF Blog Hop!

This month our theme is Time Marches On. Well, the 1st of March brought us New Products in a new category, Online Exclusives. Today I am sharing a Book Binding Explosion Card. I was inspired by the fun fold card made by Marissa Alvarez. I have used products from the new Hello, Irresistible Suite Collection. Stampin' Up! has brought back 2 colors, Pretty Peacock & Lost Lagoon. Fortunately I still had a few sheets of Pretty Peacock Cardstock and ink that I could use on this project. The card base is Pretty Peacock Cardstock. I die cut the flowers from the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper (DSP). You can also Die cut leaves from this DSP as well. I stamped mine with Pretty Peacock Ink on Basic White Cardstock and then die cut them with the Irresistible Blooms Dies.

I stamped my sentiment on the inside of this card. The "Hooray it's Your day!" could be for a birthday, a promotion, even a wedding. Because the inside "explosion" is made from a 6" x6" sheet of the DSP it is important that you make your folds on the wrong side 1st (in case of paper cracks) and then fold it in the direction you want to show inside.
