March 2022 Kre8tors Blog Hop Theme: Sketch Challenge

Welcome to the March 2022 KBH Blog Hop!

We are a group of international Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who get together once a month to provide you with some inspiration for your Stampin' Up! products. If you have arrived here from Angie's blog or just starting on my blog I think you will enjoy the time spent hopping with us.

This month we have a Sketch Challenge to share with you on our March 2022 Kre8tors Blog Hop.
Sketches are a great way to jump start your creativity. And of course they are really nice to work with if the measurement's are provided. With measurements in hand I will dive right into what I was working with.

I have wanted to do something with the adorable row of tulips die that comes with the Flowering Tulips
Bundle. I used this die on some Basic White Cardstock and then trimmed it down to fit the sketch. Backing up, just a little, the card base is Old Olive Cardstock. My card front & the bottom square layer are from the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP). The sentiment is from the Celebrating You Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White and used my Double Oval Punch to cut it out. The scalloped sentiment mat is So Saffron Cardstock ( also punched with the Double Oval Punch). I colored some White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with a retired Mango Melody Dark Stampin' Blends Marker. The inside layer sentiment is stamped using the A Wish For Everything Stamp Set and Tuxedo Black Ink. The Old Olive banner die cut uses a die that  is also from the Tulip Dies ( I was going to use this die cut on the card front, but, went with the ribbon instead ). I think this sketch will work for any quick and easy card design that you may need, it certainly did for me. I hope you like my quick and easy Easter Card.
Now it is time to travel on to your next stop on our blog hop, Jo Blackman's blog.
