Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop! We are a group of stampers from all over the world who get together once a month to bring you some stamping inspiration. This months theme is a floral one.

One of my favorite floral bundles from the Jan-June 2021 catalog is the Brushed Blooms Bundle. This bundle includes the Brushed Blooms Stamp Set and the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies. Today I am featuring this bundle, along with the wonderful Happy Thoughts sentiment stamp set. And I wanted to show you two of the new In Colors available now in the new Annual May 2021- April 2022 Catalog. I have cased this project from Jackie Bolhuis. Changing out the floral stamp set. I definitely agree with her. The Happy Thoughts sentiment set is one of the best all occasion stamp sets you can buy.

One of my most used punches, the Tailored Tag Punch was used to punch out the white embossed sentiments that were used on the card fronts.

I achieved the two-toned effect on all of the flowers by stamping with Fresh Freesia (New) Ink first on a sheet of copy paper and then adding some Rich Razzleberry to the stamp in the flower centers only using a Sponge Dauber. Then stamped on Basic White Cardstock, and die cut the flowers with the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies.

The card fronts were stamped with Soft Succulent (NEW) Ink . Stamping three times before re-inking my stamp and moving and turning the stamp to create the backgrounds.

I stamped the leaves with Soft Succulent Ink and then die cut them.

The inside of the cards were stamped with the appropriate sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and a small flower in the lower right corner.
