Welcome to the GSF Blog Hop!
This month our theme is School Days. I have chosen to create a new treat box for this event. There is a new stamp & die bundle in the Online Exclusives available in the Stampin" Up! online store. It is called Label Me Grateful, you will find a link to this bundle in the Product List below this post. I love the font that they used and the sentiments are great too.
The box measures 3" x 4" x 1" and will hold a Russel Stover's Pecan Delight candy or quite a few Hershey,s Nuggets (my favorite is the Dark Chocolate Almond Nuggets). The box base is Strawberry Slush Cardstock. I used Garden Green Cardstock for the mats, some of the leaf sprigs and I used the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the trim on the box. The rest of the flowers, leaves and berry branches are Basic White Cardstock that I colored with Blending Brushes & Stampin" Blends Markers. The sentiments have been stamped with Garden Green Ink on a Mixed Labels die cut. I adhered this label to the Label Me Grateful die cut that embossed with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.
I make teacher gifts for my great grand children's teachers every year. Showing their teacher's how much we appreciate them, even in small ways like this is so important.
I hope you liked my take on this month's theme.
Now it is time to see what Kimberley has made.
