 Welcome to the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop!

This months theme is a fond farewell to our retiring Stampin' Up! products. There are so many products retiring in May that I will miss so much. I have been showcasing them for the last week. This week I am saying goodbye to the To A Wild Rose Bundle, the Stitched Nested Labels, and the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.

The To A Wild Rose Stamp Set is a distINKive Two-Step stamp set inspired by Million Sales Achiever Mary Ellen Byler. I love Two-Step stamps! They give awesome detail effects. And then there is the sentiments included with the beautiful rose and it's leaves. This is truly a wonderful bundle, yes it includes the coordinating Wild Rose Dies.

Before I go any further I want to give you the link to the source of my inspiration. I pretty much cased the cards on Lynn Dunn's web site, stamptasticdesigns.com. Of course mine is slightly different. My card base is Basic White Cardstock. The Scripty Embossed Strip is Highland Heather that I scraped Whisper White Ink across the raised portions of the strip.The Stitched Nested Label is Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Acetate. The Rose is Basic White stamped with Highland Heather, the detail stamp is full strength the fill stamp is stamped off once. The leaves are stamped with Old Olive, again full strength for the outline and stamped off once for the fill stamp. I used White Stampin' Emboss Powder to heat emboss on Basic Black Cardstock. I did fussy cut the sentiment out with my Snips. I used the Pastel Pearls to embellish the finished card.
