Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the November GSF Blog Hop!

We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world the Love what we do and Share what we love. This months theme is Holidays.

November 3rd the Quite Curvy Bundle went live to everyone. I hadn't had a chance to get this one inked up yet so I thought I would use the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set and the Slimline Card Style for this Holiday Card.

I started by stamping the curvy trees in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the Card Front (3" x 8"). It was really easy to extend the stamping on either end to fill the Card Front 's Curvy Line. I created a mask for the area under the Tree Line. Then with a Sponge Roller began applying color to the night sky. I started with Misty Moonlight as my mid sky

color and worked it down from the top to about an inch from the Tree Tops. Then I added Seaside Spray to the Tree Area working it up into the Misty Moonlight. Then I switched to Night of Navy again starting at the top and worked my way down again to deepen the night color, I switched back to Seaside Spray to complete the blend.

I stamped the Sentiment under the Curvy Tree Line with Tuxedo Black Ink. I heat embossed the Snowflakes with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Speckled the Night Sky with Frost White Glimmer Paint. and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels for sparkling interest. The Trees are colored with Dark Crumb Cake and Shaded Spruce Blends. The Bow is stamped with  Tuxedo Black and colored with Cherry Cobbler Blends and popped up onto the Card Front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Card Front Mat is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (3 1/4" x 8 1/4"). The Card Base is Whisper White Thick (7 1/2" x 8 3/4"). The Inside Layer is Whisper White Cardstock (3" x 8"). I stamped the Sentiment with Cherry Cobbler Ink on the left and a few of the Trees with Tuxedo Black on the right.

The Envelope is Misty Moonlight Cardstock with a Liner of Heartwarming Hugs DSP.

Now it is time to take a look at the next Holiday Inspiration.
