Just Add Ink #522 - Sketch Challenge

Good afternoon my friends!

Today I had a little time to spare from my basement remodel and decided to take a look a my favorite challenge blogs to see is something would spark my creativity. Found It! The Just Add Ink Sketch #522 was perfect for the Love Of Leaves Bundle. Stampin' Up!s Fall collection of products has been spectacular this year.

You can see my first project using the Love Of Leaves Bundle Here. I am using that set again to showcase the 2 smaller leaves. The stamps give a watercolor effect that is so realistic. Then the coordinating dies can give you 3 different Looks, You saw the 1st on my other project. Today I stamped the leaves full strength with Mango Melody Ink onto some Whisper White Cardstock. There are 2 dies for each Leaf. The Outline/ Stitched die and the Inner Stitched Leaf Vein Die. I taped them both together before I die cut the leaves. There is just enough room to see where to place the dies. I popped the leaves up with some Dimensionals onto the Stitched Shapes Squares that I had cut from some Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series paper. I used the second smallest Square die for this. I did cut the Squares on the Diagonal just to add a little more interest. The Card Base is Pretty Peacock Cardstock. The Card Front is Whisper White Cardstock that was first embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and then the edges were die cut with the Ornate Border Dies. I adhered the Leaf Squares to this with some Liquid glue. Then adhered the Card Front to the Card Base with some Stampin' Seal Adhesive. The Sentiment banner has been stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and attached with Mini glue dots. I Tied a double bow with some Linen Thread and attached it with another Glue Dot. The Inside Layer has a strip of the Plaid Tidings DSP at the bottom of the Whisper White Layer as well as a Mango Melody Mat. The new Envelope dies were a must have for me. no more naked envelopes, not that I won't stamp some where it is appropriate, but I do love the dies. I hope you like my take on this sketch.
