Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop: Pick A Bundle

Welcome to the September GSF Blog Hop! This months theme is Pick A Bundle. That can be incredibly hard to do with the Awesome selection available in the new Holiday Catalog. So I decided to start with the themes for my next class, Fall or Halloween. So let me introduce you to the Monster Bash Suite.

The other thing I find incredibly hard is to control an itch. Like when I'm itching to get my hands on something like this  suite of products. I have already shared a couple of projects I created on another hop, you can see them here.

I took advantage of the Suite Bundle price which just made my shopping so easy. 1 product number, 1 price and I still received the 10% savings on the Spooktacular Bash Bundle which was included in the Monster Bash Suite. I did the same thing for at least a couple of other suites as well. Stampin' Up! just picks a group of items that are a perfect complement to the newest bundle. So easy! So now that I am done with my rant, let's take a look at the projects I wanted to share with you.

Basically  it's one card and the rest are treat holders. Starting on the left I have a Delightful Tag Punch Treat holder that I used on a 2" x 11" piece of Basic Black Cardstock. I still had some 2"x 8" Cello Bags (Retired) that I filled with some Werther Caramel Apple & Pumpkin Spice soft caramels. I folded up the bottom of the tag. Wrapped a 2" strip of Monster Bash DSP around it to create a little pocket. Then decorated it with a Pumpkin Pie Everyday Label that I embossed with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. I colored my "Open If You Dare" stamp  from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set with Pumpkin Pie & Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers and stamped this on Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I die cut it and the Basic Black Mat behind it with the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies. I cut a couple of the cute little Bats with the Bat Punch that can be found in the Every Season Punch Pack.
The Mummy Treat holder is a Tent Treat holder that I adapted from one of Sam Hammonds Tent Treat holders. Mine is much smaller. It holds a single serving ( actually they all hold a single serving or what the package says is a single serving ) of Hershey's Spooky Kisses. The finished size is 2" x 3 1/2". The Mummy is stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I allowed it to dry before coloring the image with my Stampin' Blends Markers. The Image is die cut with the Coordinating Ornate Frames Dies this is popped up with Dimensionals onto a Black ornate short rectangle frame. The Ornate Frames Dies include 2 frames, one long and one shorter, and both have some beautiful scrolls around a solid center. The Scroll Framed Mummy is popped up on the Tent Box with Dimensionals. I added some Basic Black 3/8" Scalloped Edge Ribbon behind the Scroll mat.

The Card is pretty simple but I love it. The  base is Basic Black, the Mat is Pumpkin Pie, the Card Front is from the Monster Bash DSP. The Halloween image has been punched out with a 2" circle punch and backed with a slightly larger Basic Black  circle which I cut with the Layering Circles Dies. The completed circle image is adhered to the Card Front with Dimensionals. The " Have A Spooktacular Halloween" image is stamped with Tuxedo Black and Die cut with the coordinating die. I used a sponge dauber to color the edges with Crushed Curry Ink. I used the same die to cut a Basic Black piece to mat the image with. I did this by cutting it in half lengthwise and adhered it to the back of the Spooktacular image, extending it a little above and below the image. This is then adhered to the Card Front with Dimensionals. The final touch on this card are the adorable Black Crown from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes.

The last two treat holders are Little Debbie Cookie Boxes. The small one in the front holds a Salted Caramel Cookie Bar & the larger on holds a Nutty Buddy. I will be showing these in a video soon.

As you can see I have control issues when it comes to Halloween projects. I just can't stop making them. There are more. I just have run out of time on this post. I hope you are as convinced as I am that this suite is just too cute to pass up. If you don't already have a Demonstrator please consider purchasing from me. The links to these items can be found below the  Blog Hop list.

Now it is time to travel on the the next blog to see what Bundle has been chosen.
