Stampin' Dreams September Blog Hop: Card/Project Kits

Welcome to the September Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! Our theme for this month's Hop is Card kits or Project Kits. There are several to chose from in the Annual Catalog as well as a few in the new Holiday Catalog. The kit that I have on hand is the All Inclusive Lot's Of Happy Kit. This kit has everything you need (except some adhesives) to create 20 cards 4 each of 5 designs.
I was first drawn to this kit because of the Watercolor Pencils that are included with this kit. One of my favorite colors is Flirty Flamingo. The other reason that I wanted this kit was the Tailored Tag Punch. Some of the sentiments fit this punch perfectly.

This is one of the best Images. Lilacs, I love lilacs. After coloring the lilacs with the Watercolor Pencils I went over it with a Blender Pen. You need to do this with a light touch as the paper is more suited to just using the pencils. Here you can also see the Tailored Tag Punch shape. No, I did not need to punch the Sentiment layer out, it came that way.

For this card I just colored with the pencils. If you have been on the fence about Watercolor Pencils, I can highly recommend Stampin' Up's
Pencils. They blend so well, wet or dry.

This little card would be perfect to add to a gift bag. It is too small to mail but it is adorable.

When I went to assemble this Hexagon Card I neglected to look at the card base first. Oop's! So I just went with it. I still think it looks pretty cute.

This is the last design. Did you notice the Vellum Leaf sprigs? You can't really see all of them in the photos, but they are all there. I love this little touch.

I hope you enjoyed looking at how I chose to color these cards. Coloring is one of the reasons that I got into Paper Crafting. It reminds me of when I used to paint. I know you will enjoy visiting the other blogs on our list.
