Well come to the July 2026 New at SU! Blog Hop!

Our theme for this month is Fun Fold Birthday Cards. Had to do a search on the Stampin' Up! website for "happy birthday" looking for the sentiment in a current bundle that I owned. I found the Lovely Arrangements Bundle was still available. This card is a Double Gate Fold Card. The link will take you to the last card I made like this. Creating With Allie has a video tutorial for the one she made, I CASEd her card with a couple of small changes. Go to 1:01:42 for the beginning of this card tutorial.

I am using the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the trip on this card. The card base is Secret Sea Cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The striped strips on the base are 1" x 4", cut 2. The fun fold is Cloud Cover Cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 2" & 3 3/4" on both ends. Fold & burnish according to the photo below. Cut 2 pieces of the Secret Sea Dimond DSP at 1 1/2" x 4". Cut 2 pieces of the floral DSP at 1 3/4" x 4". Die cut 2 of the Secret Sea circles layer. Adhere them back to back (reinforcing this die cut). Adhere the Cloud Cover fun fold to the center of the base. Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock 3 1/4" x 4" for the inside layer. Stamp 1 each of the flowers with Secret Sea Ink. Die cut with the coordinating Lovely Arrangements Dies. Color both flowers with Cloud Cover Light Stampin' Blends. Die cut 2 leaf sprigs on Secret Sea Two-Tone Cardstock. Using the circles die, cut a piece of Cloud Cover Two-Tone Cardstock. Cut away 1 row on the short side to use as a mat for the inside layer flower & leaves. Stamp both sentiments with Secret Sea Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Die cut both sentiments. Adhere the Happy Birthday to the inside layer. The Sending Smiles die cut has been matted onto a Secret Sea Two-Toned Cardstock die cut mat. After adhering the DSP layers to the base and the fun fold. Adhere the flower and leaf sprig to the Circles mat and then to the inside layer. I die cut 2 circles 1 from Basic White Cardstock using the Spotlight On Nature circle dies. The other circle is Cloud Cover Two-Toned Cardstock and is slightly larger than the other circle. I adhered the Secret Sea double circles die cuts to the card front on the left side only. Then adhered the Basic White & Cloud Cover circles to the Secret Sea die cut.Added the Flower with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then added the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a bow and few Moody Palette Glossy Dots.

This is a very simple fun fold card to make. I hope you enjoyed my take on this month's theme.
