Stamping INKspirations - Christmas in July 2026

Welcome to the July 2026 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!

This month our theme is Christmas In July. I always enjoy this. We also have a color challenge to go along with this theme. I absolutely love the Winter holidays. My first purchase for the Christmas Holiday is the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle. Poinsettias are such a beautiful flower. I focused on the die cut flower and the leaves.

Our colors are Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Garden Green,Shaded Spruce & Crumb Cake. I have used Cherry Cobbler for the poinsettia and one of the matting layers, Shaded Spruce for the leaves and another matting layer, the stitched circle sentiment & Crumb Cake for the card base.

I used the new Impressions Plate on the poinsettia and leaves. I sprayed the cardstock with alcohol before die cutting (makes the embossing more pronounced). Then used the Impressions Plate. The card base is Crumb Cake Cardstock. The card front is from the Nature's Walk Designer Series Paper. The leaves, the circle mat & the matting layer is from the Garden Textures Specialty Foil Sheets. The sentiment has been heat embossed with Gold Wow Metallic Embossing Powders. I used a water painter and Shaded Spruce Ink to color the word "Joy". I did add color to the leaves and the poinsettia die cuts using a small Blending Brush and Shaded Spruce & Cherry Cobbler Inks. Before assembly I speckled the die cuts, the card front & the matting circle. I added Basic Pearl Adhesive-Backed Jewels tho the poinsettia center and the card front. The inside layer has been stamped using the Pretty Poinsettia Stamps in the same colors used on the flowers & leaves. The flower center has been stamped with Golden Glow Ink.

Now, I will send you on to your next INKspirations Blog Hop stop.
