Welcome to the December GSF Blog Hop!
Our theme for this month is Last Minute Lucy. Do you have last minute ideas for little things you'd like to make for family and friends? Well I do. I am in the middle of making Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake treat holders.
I've used the Decorative Trees Bundle for this project. I have also used the Take A Bow Designer Series Paper (DSP). I've die cut the trees from the Cherry Cobbler Festive Glimmer Paper and matted them with Basic White Cardstock. I die cut a rectangle from the retired Stitched Rectangles dies, embossed it with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Then matted that layer with Garden Green Cardstock. The box is Real Red Cardstock. I used the Take A Bow DSP and the Garden Green Cardstock to trim the sides, top and bottom of the box. I stamped the For You on Basic White with Real Red Ink. Then die cut it with the Greetings Of The Season Dies. I tied a bow around the matted stitched rectangle with some Iridescent Striped Trim, Stringing the tag on as I went. I also added a few Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.
I have one more last minute gift to make for my family when I am done with this one. I hope you like my little tree box. Now I will send you on to your next blog hop stop.

Lol, those Little Debbie christmas tree cakes are such a cult thing with some people! The Decorative Trees Bundle is just PERFECT for these little boxes. Did you create the box design, or did you find a tutorial somewhere for it? Thanks for sharing :-D
ReplyDeleteThey must be a "thing" I had to hit 2 grocery stores to find the amount I needed. LOL I always make my own boxes. It is a lot of fun for me to figure out the dimensions. Thank You!!💕🎄
