Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the December GSF Blog Hop!

We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that love what we do and share what we love. If you arrived here from Marieke's blog or if you are starting here on my blog, I hope you will visit each blog  to see all of the inspiring posts and leave a little comment.

Our theme for this month is Leaves & Vines. As I am still in Christmas mode I chose to use the Joyful Holly Stamps Set for this project. One last Christmas Gift Card Holder! LOL, I know, another one. The Joyful Holly Stamp Set is a Two Step stamp set. I think of them this way Step 1) Stamp the Outline & 2) Stamp the Background. The Holly Leaves in this set are so easy to line up thanks to the PhotoPolymer.

The Card Base is Real Red Cardstock. The Card Front, Gift Card Flap, & the Inside Layer Strip is from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (DSP). I used the 2 largest Stitched Nested Labels to die cut the Design Labels. The Real Red Label was 1st embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (Tip: Always emboss before you die cut). The Whisper White Label was stamped 1st and then die cut with the 2nd largest die. The Sentiments and the berries were stamped using Real Red Ink. The Holly Leaves were stamped with Old Olive Ink and Pear Pizzazz Ink. The little label on the Gift Card Flap was punched with the Banner Pick-A-Punch and the sentiment comes from the A Merry Hello Host Set.

I hope I have inspired you with my Leaves Project. Now it is time to see what inspiration awaits you on your next blog stop.
