Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - In Colors

Welcome to this months GSF Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who love what we do and share what we love. Our theme for this month is all about the new In Colors. These  trendy In Color collections are available for 2 years and include everything you need to create beautiful hand crafted items.

When I shop for new products to play with I let my shopping list be my guide to the new In Colors. This time it was the beautiful Mosaic Mood Designer Suite of products that was 1st on my wish list.  The new In Color used in this suite is Terracotta Tile.  The Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) will have you grabbing your Paper Snips and fussy cutting full pages of this gorgeous paper. The shiny little Hummingbirds are so, so cute. This mosaic tile design and floral imagery with shiny accents made this a must have collection for me. The Terracotta Cardstock made the perfect Card Base for the project I am sharing with you today.

I added a Mat of So Saffron Cardstock and the Card Front is Very Vanilla Cardstock. The Memorable Mosaic Bundle includes the Memorable Mosaic stamp set and the Timeless Label Punch. Do you love punches as much as I do? This Sentiment Label is Stamped with Garden Green on Very Vanilla and then cut with this new punch. I used my Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker to color the edge of the label. The rest of the Card Front is filled with fussy cut images from the DSP. All of them are cut from the edges of the DSP. I popped them all up on dimensionals. I am sure you have seen the many examples of Jennifer McGuires Floating Frame Technique all over Pinterest. Well, I am calling this the Floating Elements Technique, LOL. No, it's probably not original to me. I am sure someone else has done this before. I have to tell you, because you can't get the full effect from the photo, this method creates a stunning card. The Inside Layer is Very Vanilla stamped with a Sentiment from the stamp set included with the Lots of Happy card kit in Garden Green Ink. The last thing I add to the Card Front was a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels that I colored with a Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Dark Marker.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and will be inspired by our new In Colors to create something of your own with these products. Now it is time to get on with the Hop. Just click on the arrow below and you will be taken to the next blog on the list for some more inspiration.
