Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there! I hope you are all having an awesome day. Our daughter brought fixings for Smoked Salmon & Eggs Benedict, and made us a wonderful brunch. Then our Grandson's family popped in for a few minutes too. Of course it is my Hubbies Birthday as well so we had lots of fun with them all here.
Today I am sharing some adorable gift tags that I made with a couple of new sets from our new Annual Catalog. Time for Tags is a Host set that is available for purchase at a nominal fee when your party/workshop sales are At $150 or more. It is a wonderful set that makes 5 adorable tags that can be punched with the Timeless Label Punch. Now, I love making making gift tags at Christmas time and you can see the set I made this last Christmas Here. Now I have this lovely set to make tags for other occasions as well. Color me happy!
I first stamped the Tag images with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Then I cut them out with the Timeless Label Punch. I new that I wanted use my new Delightful Tag Topper Punch to make the tags as a backdrop and looked at the Delightful Day Stamp set that came with the punch bundle. It has a cute little spotted stamp that I thought would be great for a mat behind my little Giraffe Toy. But it needed something behind it. I cut a few of the Stitched Nested Labels that were just a little larger than the Time For Tags labels. I stamped the spots with So Saffron Ink all over the Stitched Rectangle (3rd smallest in the big set). Adhered it to the So Saffron Delightful Tag with Liquid Glue. I adhered the Hello Baby Giraffe to a Crumb Cake Stitched Nested Label (4th smallest) with Liquid Glue. Then I popped them up with Dimensionals onto the Matted tag. Oh and the Giraffe was colored with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo.
The Pineapple on the Welcome Friend label is colored with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. It is Adhered to a So Saffron Stitched Nested Label. The mat on the So Saffron Delightful Tag is Old Olive Cardstock I stamped the leaf design from the Delightful Day set with Old Olive Ink all around the edge. I rounded the corners with a 1/2" Corner Round Punch. I also rounded the bottom corners of all the tags with this punch too.
The Hot Air Balloon on the Hooray For You label is colored with Balmy Blue, Lovely Lipstick, & Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends. Matted with a Lovely Lipstick Stitched Nested Label. Then it is popped up with Dimensionals on a Balmy Blue Cardstock Rounded Rectangle that has clouds water colored with White Craft Ink. The Delightful Tag is Whisper White Thick Cardstock.
The Happiest Birthday Cake is colored with Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. It is then adhered to a Crumb Cake Stitched Nested Label. Then it is popped up with Dimensionals onto a Whisper White Stitched Rectangle that has been stamped with Celebrate (from the Time for Tags set) many times in Flirty Flamingo Ink ( I used my Stamparatus for this).
The Delightful Tag is Crumb Cake Cardstock.
The Something For You label has a sweet little bird on a branch scene. I colored the bird with Balmy Blue Blends, the Branch is colored with Crumb Cake Blends, the leaves are colored with Old Olive, the Heart with Petal Pink and the birds beak is Pumpkin Pie. The Stitched Nested Label is Crumb Cake Cardstock popped up on a Whisper White Stitched Rectangle that has been stamped with Old Olive Ink using the Leaves stamp. The Delightful Tag is Balmy Blue Cardstock.
I used White Bakers Twine, Linen Thread and Burlap Ribbon trimmed down to 1/4in width to trim the tag tops and create the string ties.
