Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends Extraordinary Hop! We are a Group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world. We are here to provide you with some inspiration and most of all to share our love of all things Stampin' Up!
The theme this time is Autumn/ Winter & the New Holiday Catalog. I decided to share a Cut & Flip card that I made using the new Merry Christmas To All Bundle from the New Holiday Catalog. I 1st saw the card style on Pinterest. Bonnie O'neil had made a gorgeous card like this using the Stylish Christmas stamp set. I knew right away that I would use this card style with the Merry Christmas To All Bundle. Kimberley Anne Morris gave it a name, and it stuck.
I don't know about you but I love Die Cut Words. Big or little, I love them. This bundle was 1st on my wish list from the Holiday Catalog. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, 4 dies to make all possible combinations. Then there is the Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper that has 3 yummy colors. The Merry Merlot Glimmer Paper coordinates perfectly with Cherry Cobbler too. So I used it to cut the "Merry" out with the Merry Christmas Thinlits. You will fall in love with the rest of this bundle too, just as I did. So here we go with the rest of the card details.
Card Base - Cherry Cobbler Cardstock - 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".
Cut the Card Base Front at 2 3/4" - this becomes the Design Layer Mat.
Card Front DSP - All Is Bright Designer Series Paper - 2 1/2" x 4".
Design Layer - Whisper White Cardstock - 2 1/2" x 4".
Inside Layer - Whisper White Cardstock - 4" x 5 1/4".
Envelope Flap - All Is Bright DSP - 2 1/4" x 6".
Ink - Cherry Cobbler & Shaded Spruce.
Cut the "Merry" from the Merry Merlot Glimmer Paper. I used Liquid Glue to adhere my Merry to the Design Layer. But this would be a good place to use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. Stamp the border around the Christmas in Shaded Spruce Ink. Stamp the Christmas in Cherry Cobbler Ink inside the border. Cut this out with the coordinating die. Adhere the Merry to the Design layer on the upper right side. Adhere the Christmas die cut to the Design layer with Dimensionals. Adhere the Assembled Design Layer to the Design Layer Mat with Liquid Glue or Snail. Stamp the Holly leave scrolls with Shaded Spruce. Adhere the All Is Bright DSP to the Card base with Liquid Glue or Snail. Stamp the Sentiment on the Inside Layer with Cherry Cobbler. Stamp the Scrolls with Shaded Spruce. Adhere the Inside layer to the Inside of the Card Base with Liquid Glue or Snail. Adhere the assembled Design Layer to the Card Base with Liquid Glue or Snail. Adhere the All Is Bright DSP to the Envelope Flap with Liquid Glue or Snail. Trim away the excess with your Snips. This card turned out so cute. I think I will make a video too.
