New At Su! - Make It Mini!

Welcome to the New At SU! February Blog Hop!

Our theme for this month is Make It Mini. We were to create a project that is smaller than a traditional card using products from the 2025 January-April Mini Catalog! I was in the grocery store and spotted a package of Lindor Truffle Eggs. While the darling plastic "egg carton" held 6 eggs, my great grandkids react badly to their sugar intake. So I created  a treat box for 2 eggs. My grandson will thank me for this.

I used the 2nd smallest Stylish Shapes Stitched Circle to make the egg holder. The egg holder is 1/8" smaller than the box, which is 2 1/2"Wx 4 1/4"L x 2 1/4"H. I used the Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper for the lid of the box and Pecan Pie Cardstock for the box bottom.

Then using the Storybook Friends Bundle I made a gift tag. I stamped the squirrel on Watercolor Paper and colored the image with a Water Painter. I die cut 3 of the scroll top frames, 2 in Basic White and 1 in  Pecan Pie. I added some Boho Blue Ink to the Basic White center with a Blending Brush. Then speckled it with a Boho Blue Stampin' Blend Marker. Using some Crumb Cake Ink and the Water Painter I added some ground for the squirrel to stand on.

The Hello Friend has been heat embossed with White Wow Embossing Powder on Basic Black Cardstock. I punched a 1/8" hole in the center scroll and added some Bakers Twine. I tied a bow around the box with some Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon.

While I wouldn't exactly call this a mini treat holder, it is smaller than the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I think it is super cute and I know Nathan & Ariana will love them.
