Welcome to the December Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!

Our theme for this month is Favorite Christmas Carols. Boy does that bring back memories. Growing up I was always singing. Back then I had a pretty nice Soprano. Being able to hit those high notes was so cool. I was alway in the Chorus classes in school and was also in the Girls Ensemble in my Senior year. My favorite concerts were the Christmas shows that we did. So when I purchased the Painted Christmas Suite it was because of all of the Christmas Carols I used to sing back then.

I believe this sentiment in the Christmas To Remember Stamp Set comes from the Here We Come A Caroling Lyrics. I stamped it with Cherry Cobbler Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. The DistINKtive Christmas Season Bundle was used to stamp the foliage In Evening Evergreen & Soft Succulent Inks. I also used Early Espresso Cardstock for the pinecone background die cuts and Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper for the detailed die cut. I did antique the Merry Melody embossed layer with Early Espresso Ink and a Sponge Dauber.
I hope you liked my take on this months theme. You will find a complete list of products below. Now it is time to take a look at Annette's Christmas Carol inspiration.

  1. This is so gorgeous and you had me singing along. Singing in church choirs at Christmas is a favorite Christmas memory of mine, too. Definitely a card that I cannot wait to CAS(e) this year, Jan! As always, thanks for the inspiration. xx
