Stamping INKspirations November 2021 Blog Hop - Thankful For You

 

Welcome to the November Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!

Our theme this month is Thankful For You. If you have come from Leonie's wonderful post or if you are starting the Blog Hop from my site I hope you will enjoy my take on our theme for this month.

This week we celebrate with Stampin' Up!s OnStageatHome. 3 days of wonderful inspiration and celebrating personal milestones. As an attendee I was able to order a new collection of products from the upcoming Jan-Jun Mini Catalog. The Blessings of Home Stamp Set along with coordinating Flowers of Home Dies, the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Denim 3/8" Ribbon have all been used to create this Thank You card (along with a couple of other products in my stash).

It was so much fun coloring this large floral image with my Stampin' Blends Markers. I am going to try this with our Fluid Watercolor Paper next time and use my Water Painters. I used Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia & Misty Moonlight to color the flowers and Soft Succulent to color all of the leaves. Because the Floral image is pretty busy I matted it onto one of the Scalloped Contour Die cuts. Which I embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder before I did the die cut (I know this method reduces the texture on the embossing a bit, but I like my die cuts crisp). The card base is Basic White Thick and the card front is from the Heart & Home DSP. The Denim Ribbon is so soft it was easy to tie my bow. I couldn't resist adding one of the little Bumblebee Trinkets to finish this project.

Because this project is basically a sneak peek from the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog I don't have my normal Product list for you to order from, as they won't be available for purchase until January.
