Welcome to the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop!
This month we are mixing things up a bit. For instance I will be saying farewell to some of the 2018-2020 In Colors by stamping with retiring In Color Inks but using some NEW products that will be available June 3rd 2020 (The day the New Catalog goes live). I am also using a sentiment from the Share Sunshine PDF.
There are so many wonderful new things to play with when a new catalog comes out. As a Stampin' Up Demonstrator I am able to choose from some of these new goodies a whole month earlier. One of my purchases was a new punch. Now I love punches, they are quick and easy designs that can make a project pop. But the Lovely Labels Pick Punch is going to be the first thing I look for when I want to create a sentiment label.
I took my inspiration from one of the cards in the New Catalog. I pretty much Cased it with a a couple of tweaks.
My Card Base & the Sentiment Label Mat are Lovely Lipstick Cardstock (retiring).
The Card Front Mat & the Sentiment Label are Blueberry Bushel Cardstock (retiring).
The Card Front is Whisper White Cardstock
The Inside Layer is Whisper White Cardstock
I started this project by coloring the flower stamps in the New Lovely You stamp set with my Stampin' Write Markers. The stems and leaves on the flower stamps are colored with Call Me Clover. The largest flower is Blueberry Bushel. the medium flower is Lovely Lipstick. The Leaf Sprigs are stamped with Call Me Clover and the single flower is stamped with Pineapple Punch. I did this on a diagonal line rather than filling the Card Front with stamped images. But the empty corners needed something. So I die cut some cardstock with the largest die in the Many Medallions Dies set and used it as a stencil. I used Gray Granite Ink and kept it on the light side. The Sentiment on the Card Front is heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. The Sentiment Mats have been embossed with the New Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment on the Inside Layer is from the Share Sunshine PDF. I colored the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and a few Clear Basic Rhinestones with a Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blend Marker. I added both of these as final touches to embellish my card.
So this is the New Lovely Label Pick A Punch. Be still my heart. No more scrounging through my die

DeleteLove this Jan! That stamp set is on it's way to me and this is wonderful inspiration to ink it up. I especially love that you featured the retiring In Colors. Those are some of my favorite colors and I'm sad to see them retire. Beautiful card!
