Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop: Sale-A-Bration/Mini Catalog

Welcome to the December Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! Our theme this month revolves around the new 2020 Jan-Jun Mini Catalog & the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. So, my project for today is a Sneak Peak of products available starting January 3rd, 2020.

My project uses the Honey Bee Bundle from the new January-June Mini Catalog. I have always loved bees, dragonflies & butterflies. So choosing this bundle was an easy choice and I earned the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure too (FREE with a $50 purchase). I predict this SDSP will be the 1st thing to sell out. It is so beautiful! The colors are Metallic Gold, Black & White. When you click on the photo and see the close up you will see that this is one of Stampin' Up!s DistINKtive  stamp sets. I LOVE these sets. The almost photo realistic look of these elements adds so much to the stamped image.

I stamped the Bee Hive with Daffodil Delight (stamped off once). Used the coordinating Die to cut it out. Then I stamped the small Bee & the right handed Flower with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Die cut both with the coordinating dies. Colored the Bee body with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. Colored the Flowers with Light Purple Posy Stampin' Blends. I stamped the "Wishing You Sunshine & Happiness" with Basic Black Ink and then cut it with the largest Stitched Shapes Circle. I used my small Aqua Painter & Pear Pizzaz Ink (using my Stampin' Write Marker scribbled onto a block) to add some greenery under the Hive. I think you can see how I put this together. Dimensionals under the Sentiment Banner, Hive and the SDSP Banner.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!🎄
Now it is time to travel on to the next Blog to see what she has to inspire you.
