Global Stamping Friends: Neutrals

Welcome to the GSF Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world who love what we do and share what we love.

This months theme is Neutrals. What does that mean? I must choose colors from Stampin' Up!s Neutrals Color Family.  I have two projects to share with you today that use four of these colors, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.

I have been in a CRAFT FAIR mode. Making items to sell in the Fall/Winter shows. So the Post It Note Holder is one of the designs I made to sell at my show. I have used the Rooted In Nature stamp set and the Natures Roots Framelits. You can see and or order the products I have used from the links displayed below. The Calendar Project I made simply because I wanted something else in my photo. But I think it is super cute. So I may offer a few of those as companion pieces.

The Wood Textures DSP on the Post It Note Holder has been embossed with the Pinewood Planks
DTIEF just to add some texture to the piece. I matted the Crumb Cake Stitched Shapes Square with a Mossy Meadow Scalloped Square. I stamped the You Are Wonderful with  Merry Merlot Ink. The leaf sprig is stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink (stamped off once). The Faceted Dots were used as accents.

The Easel Calendar base is Crumb Cake. The mat is Mossy Meadow and the front is Whisper White Cardstock that I embossed with the Pinewood Planks DTIEF and then gently colored with Crumb Cake Ink by drawing the stamp pad down the embossed paper. This method colored only the raised areas. The Calendar is attached to the Merry Merlot Scalloped Rectangle that I made from the largest Scalloped Layering Square, with some brads. This is then popped up with Dimensionals onto the front piece. The Tree is colored with Stampin' Write Markers on the stamp itself and then stamped on Whisper White.

The Rooted in Nature Bundle is available at 10% off in the annual catalog. I think it is an essential part of my stamp collection.

I Would Love To Be Your Demonstrator!

    1. Thank You so much! Papertreyink.com has some that are smaller. These are hand made which take a bit longer.
