March 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop / Theme: Bye Bye Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to the 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop! We are saying goodbye to our Sale-A-Bration Products this month. It's been quite a wild ride. So many of the products sold out in record time. During the month of March, while supplies last, we were able to purchase dies to go with some of our Sale-A-Bration products. Of course the Hop Around Framelits for the So Hoppy Together stamp set were the 1st to sell out. Wow, that was fast.

My project today uses a few of our Sale-a-Bration Products. But I also pulled in a couple of elements from the Lily Pad Lake set. I started by stamping the So Hoppy Together images with Basic Black Ink and then heat embossed the images quickly with Clear Stampin' Emboss powder on Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Did you know that you can heat emboss with most of our Classic Ink colors. It creates a very fine detail which I just love. I cut the images out with the Hop Around Framelits, a Sale-A-Bration Coordination product. Using my Aqua Painter Brushes, I colored the frogs with Granny Apple Green Ink. The little bug has a Granny Apple Green body and Daffodil Delight eyes. For the Card Front I decided to try out the Glossy Cardstock. I Stamped the water area with the water stamp from Lily Pad Lake using Granny Apple Green again. Then I went over it with a very wet brush to blend the color out a little. The sky is a wash of Balmy Blue Ink. The Greenery (from the Lily Pad Lake set) and the Lily Pads are Granny Apple Green Cardstock. I added a little Old Olive Ink with the Aqua Painter to create a little dimension. The Water Lillies are colored with Melon Mambo Ink. The Sentiment is from the Part of My Story Sale-A-Bration (SAB) stamp set and the die I used to cut this out comes from the Lily Framelits another Sale-A-Bration Coordination limited release product that coordinates with the Lasting Lily SAB set. I put this all together on a Card Base of Melon Mambo. This card definitely made me giggle.

There are still some Sale-A-Bration sets available through the month of March, while supplies last. If you have your I on something, don't wait too long to purchase it. I hope you enjoyed my last look at some of our Sale-A-Bration products.

Now it is time top on over to Rebecca-Jo's blog and see what Sale-A-Bration inspiration she has for you.
