Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop: Stamper's Choice.

Welcome to the GSF Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who love what we do and share what we love. This month's theme is Stamper's Choice. I didn't even need to think about it. My choice for this month's theme is Wonderful Romance Bundle.

The whole product suite is absolutely gorgeous. I'm not just talking about the stamps & dies here. The Floral Romance Specialty DSP has 6 - 12" x 12" printed Vellum sheets that are simply amazing. Let alone the remaining DSP, which is beautiful too. The Frosted Flower Embellishments and the Floral Romance Seals are really cute as well. I also love the color palette they have chosen for this suite, Fresh Fig, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.

But, I wanted to do something a little bit different so I started my card by Stamping the main design from the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set onto Whisper White Thick Paper with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I then proceeded to color the image with my Stampin' Blends, Rich Razzleberry Combo, Old Olive Combo, Granny Apple Green Combo and Petal Pink Combo. I used the Coordinating die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits to cut the image out. I added Mini Dimensionals to the back of this piece and then set it aside while I completed the rest of the card. I new I wanted the background to be pretty neutral so I pulled out a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock and the Wood Textures DSP. I stamped the"Thinking of you" with Mossy Meadow Ink onto the Crumb Cake, then I embossed the Crumb Cake with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I cut the Trellis from a piece of wood Textures DSP using the die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits. I stamped a few of the tiny Flowers with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends. I decided I needed something white behind the flower spray so I cut a Stitched Shapes Oval from Whisper White Cardstock.

To assemble the card I used Liquid Glue to adhere the Crumb Cake Card Front to the Whisper White Card Base. Then adhered the Trellis to the Crumb Cake Card Front with Liquid Glue too. Next came the Whisper White Stitched Oval that I used Liquid Glue on it too. Then it came time to add the Floral Spray which already had the Mini Dimensionals on the back. I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the Tiny Flowers in place. Lastly I added a little bling, Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
