Welcome to the 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who Love What we do and Share what we love. This months theme is all about the new Occasions & Sale-a-Bration Catalogs. And to make things even more fun we are playing Tic Tac Toe.
I chose the left vertical line. My project needed to be a 3D Item that has Heat Embossing and Sequins. My 1st choice of the Sale-A-Bration items was the Hello Cupcake stamp set. It is just adorable.
I started off with a treat holder. I wanted to try the cute little gift bag with a flap closure. I thought it would be fun to put some Strawberries & Cream Lindor Truffles in it. My Great Grand Daughter is going to love this. I could have stopped right there, but, I didn't.
I was cruising through some of my favorite blogs when I saw the sketch on Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge Blog that would be perfect for the Hello Cupcake stamp set.
So I decide to make a card to go with my Treat Holder. This is a top folding card. So the Crumb Cake Base is 4 1/4" x 11, scored at 5 1/2". The Card Front is a piece of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock. The large Stitched Rectangle is cut from All My Love DSP. The small Stitched Rectangle is Lovely Lipstick Cardstock. Heat Emboss the sentiment with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Cut a Stitched Shapes Framelit Circle from Vellum Cardstock.
Cupcake Bottom - Stamped with Crumb Cake Ink on Whisper White.
Cake - Crushed Curry Ink stamped on Whisper White.
Icing - Flirty Flamingo Ink stamped on Whisper White.
Heart Pick - Lovely Lipstick Ink on Whisper White.
Sprinkles - Lovely Lipstick Ink. ( Heat Emboss all ink on the Cupcake pieces) Pop up the Cupcake on the Vellum Stitched Circle with Dimensionals. Add Iridescent Sequins.
The Mini Gift Bag Treat Holder with a Flap closure is not a new idea. There are many Tutorials out there. I wanted something that would hold a few Strawberry Lindor Truffles. This was the one I settled on. The one I chose came from Scrap Sprinkle Crop. Then added some Lovely Lipstick Cardstock and some All My Love DSP. Heat Embossed the sentiment with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Then finished with a few Iridescent Sequins. I managed to get 3 Truffles into it.
Then I thought it should have been a Cupcake Holder. So, I made one of those too. LOL. Again, there are many tutorials for cupcake holders. I found one that was small, for homemade cupcakes, and wouldn't you know it, I did not bookmark it and now it cannot be found. I apologize, If you see this post please contact me so that I can give you credit for this adorable box.
So essentially I wound up with a suite of items based on the Sale-A-Bration Hello Cupcake stamp set.
There is also a new Gift Card Holder, but that will wait for another day.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what is possible with the Hello Cupcake stamp set and want to earn this set yourself. All it takes is a $50 purchase (before tax & shipping). Now it is time to wander on to the next blog. I a sure Sandra has something great to show you.
