The Paper Players: PP407 - A Sketch Challenge

Today I have a card I created for the Paper Players Sketch Challenge #PP407. Working with the sketch I decided to emboss a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I added some Crumb Cake Ink to the folder first by drawing the Ink Pad over the flat portion of the folder.  Then I cut the piece according to the sketch.
I popped them up onto the Early Espresso Card Front, 4" x 5 1/4", with Dimensionals. I love how that turned out. One of my favorite sets coming out in the 2018 Holiday Catalog is Still Night. The dies that go with it are the Night Owl Thinlits. When you purchase the two together as a bundle you save 10%. The owls are so sweet, and the tree branch is just the perfect size for him to perch on.  I have also used some elements from the Blended Seasons bundle that is a limited time product (only available during the month of August, or while supplies last). The Vellum stitched label, 3" x 4 1/4", is from this bundle and it worked out so well. It created a little separation from the background and allowed the Owl and the tree branch to stand out a little more. I colored the smallest Leaves from the Blended seasons and the Owl, 1 1/2" x 2 1/2", with our Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. The Sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings. The border stamp comes from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. Then I used the Classic Label Punch to cut it out. It too was popped up with Mini Dimensionals onto the card. The Inside Layer Is Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped the tree branch from the Still Night set in Crumb Cake Ink. The Sentiment is from Spooky Sweets and is stamped in Basic Black. I added a couple of the Blended Seasons Leaves to this layer too.

Update:

Than You Claire, for choosing my card. It's so nice to have your efforts appreciated by such talented individuals!
