Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - Sounds Of The Season

Welcome to the Stamping INKspirations 2025 Sounds Of The Season Blog Hop!
It's that time of the year when I get to turn my SUV's radio to the Holly Christmas Channel. Now this always makes my husband laugh. He knows I am addicted to Christmas. Especially Christmas Carrols. I sang in the choir all through my school years. This year I chose the Festive Friends Bundle to create my Sounds of the Season Project. I found a fun fold on Facebook by Elizabeth Martinez that I thought was so cute. I case-d her project for the Santa's Coming To Town sentiment.

I used Real Red Cardstock for the card base and the North Pole Delivery Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) for the layers. The layers were matted with Basic White Cardstock. The trees are Garden Green and Gold Foil Cardstock. The tag is Basic White Thick Cardstock. All of the snow flakes are stamped with Pool Party Ink. The stars are Gold Foil. The sentiment strip is Basic White cardstock that I die cut with the Traditional Labels Dies and stamped with the Festive Friends Stamps using Real Red Ink.

The Santa is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White Thick. Die cut with the Festive Friends Dies and colored with Stampin' Blends Markers. Real Red for the suit & hat, Smoky Slate for the boots and gloves. I did some ink blending with Light Petal Pink around his face, added Dark Petal Pink on his cheeks. I used Light Gray Granite to shade under the hat and under his face and mustache. And shaded the fur trim and pom pom with Light Gray Granite too.

So by now you may have the song, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, running through your head, like it is in mine. Tis' the season. Hope you enjoyed your stop on my blog. Please travel on to all of the others. I'm sure you will find plenty of sounds of the season inspiration along the way.
