Global Stamping Friends - Orange You Spooky

Welcome to the October GSF Blog Hop!

This month our theme is Orange You Spooky. I created treat holders using ready made images from the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP). These images were meant to be used as tags or tag fronts or just about anything. I used them for the front of my treat holders. I matted them with Basic Gray and Timid Tiger Cardstocks. The boxes are Granny Apple Green & Lemon Lime Twist Cardstocks.

The Frank n' Puppy and the adorable little pumpkin goody bucket were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock and colored with Stampin' Blends Markers. The little tag is Basic Gray Cardstock, stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with White Wow Embossing Powder (I used a 3/8" Velcro Spot to hold the tag in place). I added a little Basic Black die cut bat to the  upper left corner. I tied a bow around the box top lid using Timid Tiger Faux Linen Ribbon. the little twinkly stars are from the Shimmer Star Foam Stickers.

This little witchy kitty is popped up on another tag element from the SDSP. I used 2 of them on this treat holder. I fussy cut the candy from one of them and popped them up on top of the candy in the tag element. I used the Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon to tie the bow around the top of the treat holder.

These treat holders will hold a variety of goodies for your Trick or Treaters. I have a full size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in one of them and the other one has a Little Debbie Donut Stick and a Starbuck's Via Coffee in it.

I hope you like my take on this month's theme, Orange You Spooky. Now let's see what Kimberley has to inspire you for this month's hop.

  1. So cute!!! Did you come up with the treat holder on your own? Or did you find the pattern (or box) elsewhere?
