Welcome to the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!
Our theme for this month is Favorite Fun-Fold Cards. My favorite fun fold is a gift card holder, I actually have three gift card holders that I like to make. I included all three in a
Merry Moose & In The Pines Class In The Mail a couple of years ago.
I have combined the Window Wishes Bundle, which includes the Window Wishes Stamp Set and the Window Dies (when you purchase the bundle you save 10%), with the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP). I collected Department 56 porcelain lighted houses many years ago. So if there are stamps & dies that include houses I will buy them. It's an addiction.
The card base is Crumb Cake Cardstock. The card base mat is from the Sweetest Christmas DSP. The gift card fun-fold is also Crumb Cake. The outer window frame is Soft Suede Cardstock that has been embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. the inner window frame is Crumb Cake. I die cut another 2 outer widow frames from Basic White Cardstock to get my snow scene layers. I used the curved snow die included in the Window Dies to cut the snowy hill on one of the inner window layers. The back layer has been colored with Balmy Blue & Night of Navy Inks using a Blending Brush. I stamped the bare branch tree with Soft Suede Ink on this layer too. I adhered the tree & sky layer to the Crumb Cake gift card fun-fold front with Liquid Glue. Using my Stamparatus and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink I stamped the Merry Wishes at the bottom of the snowy hill layer. The snowy hill layer was adhered to the tree & sky layer with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I adhered the Real Red house to the snowy hill with Liquid Glue. Next I adhered the Crumb Cake inner frame to the scene the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the embossed Soft Suede frame to the Crumb Cake inner frame. the garland is stamped with Garden Green Ink and then die cut with the Window Dies. It is adhered to the completed frame with Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the From Our Hearts To Yours with Tuxedo Black Ink on one of the Basic White outer frames and cut this down with a 1/4" corner rounder. I then adhered this sentiment to the garland with dots of Liquid Glue. The inside of the gift card holder has a Sweetest Christmas DSP layer adhered to the flap and is trimmed with a garland swag I cut from both ends of another garland I had stamped and die cut. The Real Red bow hides the connection.
I hope you liked my Window Wishes Gift Card Holder Fun-Fold. Now it is time to go to your next stop on this month's hop.
