Welcome to the July GSF Blog Hop!
This months theme is Recipes. I have been playing with the Sweet as a Peach Suite of products and thought it might be fun to make my own bath salts to put in the cute little jars that came with this suite. Sara Douglas did this and gave us the ingredients but not the amounts. So I went on an internet search and tracked down the correct amounts. It was really hard to get the peach color the way I wanted is. I practically pulverized the salts into a more of a powder in my efforts to achieve this color. Take my advise and use Coarse Himalayan Sea Salt and leave it the only color you add for the peach color. But this recipe is not quite ready for sharing ( I haven't tried it out yet, LOL). But the adventure was still kind of fun and I would like to find a Christmas version for the 1craft fair I will do this year.
I love this coordinating set! I wanted to get this entire Suite Collection, but it went on backorder so quickly. I've been waiting for the whole thing to come back in stock. It's such a refreshing color combo, nice and crisp and cool for summer! Thanks for sharing :-D
