Global Stamping Friends Bloghop 21: Design Sketch Challenge

Welcome to the GSF 21st Bloghop!

This month one of our members has kindly created a Sketch for us to play with. Thank You Angelique Stempelkeuken for this fun sketch. I actually made 2 cards with the sketch. They both use the Love What You Do stamp set. In fact I used several products from the Share What You Love Suite. This Suite is an Early release from the new Annual Catalog which goes live on June 2nd. Stampin' Up! has created 3 bundles for you to choose from. Each bundle includes something Free. So cool!! We will visit these a little later.

The 1st card has a (RETURNING) Mint Macaron Base. The Card Front is a piece of Watercolor Paper matted onto (NEW) Petal Pink Cardstock. I used the Watercolor Stamp and Mint Macaron Ink to stamp the background. I did spray a little water onto the stamp before taking it to the paper to accent the image a little more. The floral banner is a piece of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. Topped with a length of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon. Layered on top is the Petal Pink Scalloped Circle, then the Whisper White Stitched Shapes Circle. The Sentiment and Image have been stamped with Base Black Ink. The Flower Image has been painted with an Aqua Painter and one of our NEW In Colors, Grapefruit Grove. I love this look.  I added some little flowers to the Card Front near the Circles stamped with Rich Razzleberry. The Inside Layer has been stamped with the Floral Image in Basic Black Ink. The Embellishments include Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a heart from the Retiring Metallic Enamel Shapes.

The Card Base for this one is Petal Pink Cardstock. The Card Front is a Pearlized Floral Cardstock from the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. I layered 2 - 1/2" strips of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock on top of the DSP to create the Stripes. Again I have used the Scalloped Circle cut from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock. The Stitched Shapes Circle is Whisper White Cardstock. I used my Aqua Painter and a little bit of Powder Pink Ink to add a little color to the Stitched Shapes Circle. I stamped the Floral Image with Basic Black Ink. Then I added more Grapefruit Grove Ink to the Flowers with my Aqua Painter. The Thank You is Stamped with Basic Black Ink onto Whisper White and then cut with the Tailored Tag Punch. I cut another tag in Grapefruit Grove Cardstock. I cut this down the middle and glued them to the back of the tag, extending them above and below the tag. Using a fine tip pen and a ruler I drew the line around the sentiment. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the Card Front to top it off.

In my previous post Here you will find a list of the bundles being offered during the month of May. Remember, this is a Special that will only be available until May 31, 2018. Do not forget to use the May Host Code if you purchase $60.00 - $150.00 in product. That qualifies you for a free gift from me as well.

Now it is time to click on the Next Arrow below. Take a look at what Lisa Ann Bernard has created using this sketch.
