March 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop: Birthdays

Welcome to the March 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow demonstrators. Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along. This month’s theme is BirthdaysI can’t wait to show you my project!

The Perennial Birthday Stamp Set is my second favorite set from the Occasions Catalog. I love flowers of just  about any kind. I stamped all of the images in Momento's Tuxedo Black and fussy cut a bunch of them out. I just started putting them together in different configurations until I got one that I liked. I covered it all up with some Glad Press & Seal. That will keep it all together until I start my assembly.

My Card Base is Bermuda Bay - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".
The Card Front is Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4",  embossed with the Petal Burst TIEF.
The Card Front Mat is Pool Party - 2 3/4" x 3 5/8", stamped with Pool Party Ink (using the largest floral image).
The Sentiment Strip is Bermuda Bay - 1 1/4" x 4 1/4", Stamp the sentiment with Tuxedo Black. Tie some Bermuda Bay 1/8" Shimmer Ribbon (FREE Sale-A-Bration item) around this piece.
I colored the flowers with Stampin' Blends, Pool party light & dark and Bermuda Bay light & dark.
The Inside Layer is Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp the sentiment with Tuxedo Black. Stamp the largest floral image with Pool party ink, stamping off once.
Assemble the card with your preferred adhesives.
I popped up the smallest flowers with Mini Dimensionals.

If you would like to earn this beautiful pack of Shimmer Ribbon all you have to do is make a $50.00 purchase in my online store and it can be yours FREE.
