SUO Challenge #179 – New Fun from Stampin’ Up!

Good Morning,

I have been on a gift card holder kick lately. Every time I look at a new Stamp set I think "Wow, that would make a great gift card holder." Sooo... here it is. Please take a look at the other 2 I  made as well. They are in the previous post.

Todays project is for the SOU Challenge #179 - New Fun from Stampin' Up. I like this Gift Card Holder Template a lot. I've seen it all over Pinterest and the net and can't honestly say which one is better. You can adjust the size of the front to accommodate whatever you choose to show on the inside off to the right. This time I used my NEW Coffee Cafe Bundle. The stamps and dies are just too cute together.
The base is Early Espresso Cardstock and measures 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and again at 9". The card front is 3 1/4" x 4", I used the coordinating DSP, Coffee Break for this as well as the inside card flap which is 1 3/4" x 4". The inside piece is Whisper White and measures 4" x 5 1/4". I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green Ink and the little Coffee Beans, Coffee Cup Lid and the oval sentiment in Early Espresso ink. I cut the Coffee Cup out of the Coffee Break DSP. Then cut it and the lid using the Coffee Cups Framelits. After I stamped the Thanks a Latte oval I cut it with the oval framelit from the same set. Then I layered the oval on top of a oval Corrugated Element. The half circle on the Gift Card flap was cut with a 1 1/4" Circle Punch. I taped the flap down with Tear-nTape. I put a strip of Soft Sky Cardstock under the Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon just to make it stand out a little more. I popped up the Coffee Cup with Dimensionals.

Don't forget Bonus Days are still going on this month. For every $50, before tax & shipping, you spend, you will receive a $5 coupon you can use in August.
