Global Design Project 066

Good afternoon,

Here I am at last. It has been about a month since my last post. We were on vacation in Yellowstone for 2 weeks, then busy trying to find a newer vehicle. We still have not found one, so I am a hermit for a while longer.

Todays card is based on the sketch from the Global Design Project #066. I have fallen in love with the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle ( You save 10% when you buy the bundles) which is in the new Occasions 2017 catalog. I love Dragonflies. I take pictures of them, I have dragonfly jewelry, I just love dragonflies. So this new set is perfect for me. The new catalog is available free with any purchase in my store. If you have ordered from me in the past year you will receive your catalog in the mail.

Card Base - Soft Sky Cardstock
Card Front - Watercolor Paper
Dragonfly & Sentiment Tag - Whisper White
Ink - Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Sahara Sand, Island Indigo.
Linen Thread

I started the Card Front by brushing on some water. Then inking up the dotted border stamp first in Sahara Sand and then in Soft Sky and lastly in Blushing Bride I started stamping on the wet paper. If it starts to dry spritz a little more water on it. I played with this until I liked it. The after it had dried I Stamped the Flowers from Awesomely Artistic in Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. The Dragonfly is stamped and embossed as well. I used a blender pen dipped in Island Indigo towards the inside of the wings and Soft Sky in the wing tips. When I die cut the dragonfly I cut an extra one and glued them together for a little more support as I popped it up on the card with Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Sahara Sand.

One more thing, Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration starts January 4th too. For every $50.00 Purchase you make, before Tax & Shipping, you can choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Who doesn't like free?

I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR DEMONSTRATOR!If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here. Thanks for looking!
