MOJO194- Monday's Sketch Challenge

My husband gave me a wonderful anniversary gift this year, a new stamp set from my favorite place to shop, Verve Stamps, and I have used them to play along with the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog. I took one of the smallest flower and leaf sprig stamps and created my own paper with my still favorite colors, pink and green, from a VersaMagic Dew Drop Color Set. Then I cut them into four strips according to the sketch. For the scalloped bottom I used one of the largest flowers from my Verve Bloom and Grow Stamp Set, stamped the image four times and then I cut them out with the medium flower die from the Verve Floral Circle Die Set. They were glued in place and became the scalloped border. I think it is so cute like that. I punched the horizontal strip with the Deco Shells punch by Martha Stewart. Tied a pretty sparkle ribbon, by Offray, around the strip, and cut my badge tails too. I used Spellbinders Circle Dies for the focal point. I used the Verve Charming Oval Die for the bottom sentiment. That stamp is from Verve's Wordy Birds Set.
