Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop: A Circle Theme

Welcome to the GSF Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the globe who Love what we do and Share what we love. This month's theme is Circles.

I struggled with this one a little bit. I could not decide on how I wanted to work with this. You could do something abstract with lots of circles stamped or embossed on a card. Not in my wheel house unfortunately. So I chose to incorporate the circles by using them as a way to show off the new snowflakes in the Snow Is Glistening stamp set.

I got out the Swirly Frames stamp set and stamped 3 of the smallest circle swirls in Night of Navy. I die cut them with the Layering Circles Framelits 1 5/8" x 1 5/8". Using a 1 1/4" Circle Punch I punched out 3 Night of Navy circles. Then I stamped the medium Snowflake withVersaMark 3 times and heat embossed them with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder. I die cut the snowflakes with the Snowfall Thinlits. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the snowflakes to the Night of Navy circles and then popped them up on the Swirly Circles with Dimensionals. I cut a 3/4"x 51/4" Strip of Night of Navy Cardstock. On this I heat embossed the longest dotted line from the Swirly Frames set with Silver Emboss Powder. I adhered this to the bottom of the Card Front with my Snail Adhesive. Then adhered the completed Snowflake circles to that strip with Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the Sentiment with Night of Navy Ink in the upper right area and added some Silver embossed tiny snowflakes around it. I adhered the completed card front to the card base with Snail. The inside layer sentiment is from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. It was stamped with Night of Navy Ink. I added some tiny Silver embossed snowflakes here too.

The Snow Is Glistening Stamp set is part of the Limited Time Release of the Snowflake Showcase products. You can purchase any or all of these products November 1-30, 2018 (while supplies last). Also starting tomorrow is the November Hostess Code gift from me for a $50+ purchase will be the Frost White Shimmer Paint (which is the perfect way to add a little sparkle to your snowflakes).
