Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Last Minute Lucy

Welcome to the GSF Blog Hop!

Our theme for December is, once again, Last Minute Lucy. I take this time to create some sort of treat holder for my great granddaughter's teachers and support people. But, back on August 1st, I shared a treat box that I had made using the Label Me Grateful Bundle. You can see this one HERE. Stampin' Up! really created a great little bundle when thy designed this one. A very useful label die, other dies for seasonal use and wonderful sentiments in rubber ( I will miss our rubber stamps). I made another box like this one but using parts of this bundle and other holiday products.

The box is made using Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. The trim, on the top and all 4 sides is from one of the Christmas Greetings Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes. the trim pieces have been matted with Garden Green Cardstock. The Gold Foil label was die cut using the Label Me Grateful label die and then Embossed with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment (Season's Greetings) comes from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera. The sentiment has been popped up on a Mixed Labels Die cut that has had some Soft Sea Foam Ink added with a Small Blending Brush. The flowers are Real Red Cardstock stamped with Real Red Ink using the Delicate Pines Stamp Set. Both the flowers and the Garden Green pine sprigs have been die cut using the Delicate Pines Dies. I have embellished the flowers with the Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.

The inside sentiment has been stamped with Garden Green Ink on another ink blended Mixed Labels die cut. Pine sprigs have been added to opposing corners to decorate the inside a little.

I had been asked many times for the directions to make this box. I was unable to do so until now. The download link to the tutorial is below.

Now I will send you to my friend Kimberley's blog to see what inspiration she has to share with you.
