New At SU! October 2025 Blog Hop: No Tricks, Just Treats

Welcome to the New@SU! Blog Hop

This month you will see teat holders for many occasions and/or seasons. I am a big fan of treat holders. I have been retired for 10 years and have enjoyed paper crafting for most of those years. For the past 3 years I have done a craft show in early November and sold my treat holders there. Today I'm sharing 2  of my favorites.

The treat holder in the back has been made using the Spooky Sweet Suite Collection, The Fright Night Bundle, the Branching Out Dies & The Stylish Shapes Circle Dies. The 3rd largest Branching Out Die was the perfect size to create a hanging treat bag topper. I used the largest and the 3rd largest Stitched Circle Dies for the hanger. I heat embossed the Happy Halloween on Petunia Pop Cardstock and die cut it with the curved banner die in the Fright Night Die set.

My little Frank N Puppy has been colored with Stampin' Blends Markers I used Granny Apple Green Glimmer Paper For the Boo! I was able to mimic the stitched Branching Out die cut with the Designer Series Paper (DSP) by using a 1" Circle punch on the bottom corners. I added a little die cut spider to the handle.  I totally love the Shimmer Star Foam Stickers so added a few of the Petunia Pop stars to the topper.

The EEK! box was designed to hold 3 s
nack sized KitKat bars. I cased the label idea from the Stampin' Up! website. I used the Label Me Grateful Die and embossed it with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. The box is made with Smoky Slate Cardstock. The trim is Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper (DSP) matted on Basic Gray Cardstock. I stamped the Basic White Banner with Petunia Pop Ink. Then layered the Granny Apple Green Glimmer EEK! up on some black fun foam for a little extra dimension. Added the spider web, Bat and spider die cuts. The Petunia Pop bow and Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were the final touches.

The sentiment on the inside is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Basic White Mixed Labels die cut. I added a little bat to the corner.

I hope you like my take on this month's No Tricks, All Treats blog hop theme.

  1. A handle on a treat bag is like pockets in a dress: Makes it MUCH more adorable!
