Global Stamping Friends - Fresh & New

Welcome to the May GSF Blog Hop!

Our theme this month is Fresh & New. On May 1st the Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog went live. With 5 new In Colors included. And I love all of them. My card today has a Petunia Pop card base. My favorite, so far. It blends beautifully with Bubble Bath, which I used for my card front mat.

Zinnias were my mother's favorite flowers. She used to plant them from seeds and loved to see what color would bloom first. The card front is Basic White Cardstock that has been embossed with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped the Zinnia cluster with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Die cut the image with the coordinating Simply Zinnia Dies. Then allowed that to dry and colored the image with my Stampin' Blends. I stamped the card front sentiment, the inside sentiment and the leaf sprigs with Tuxedo Black Ink too. I die cut the card front sentiment with the new Unbound Love Dies. I did extend the die cut to fit the sentiment. I also die cut another one in Bubble Bath Cardstock and used it to mat the sentiment. I adhered the assembled sentiment to the Zinnia cluster with Liquid Glue tucking it under the leaves. Then I adhered this to the embossed card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to finish this card.

Now I will send you to your next blog hop stop. I hope you enjoyed your stop on my blog today.

  1. What a pretty card! I especially love how you cut that extra label from Bubble Bath Cardstock and used it to mat the white one. That little skinny bit of color peeking around the edges gives it such an elegant look. Thanks for sharing :-D
