Welcome to the 3rd Thursdays November Blog Hop!
Our theme for this month is Gratitude & Gatherings. I am grateful for so many things and people. I am a high risk for the Pandemic having had Leukemia for many years. I have been in remission for the past 7 years. But contracting a virus of any kind finds me 1st in line. So Thanksgiving will be via FaceTime this year. My son & his family live in Indiana so we always have FaceTime calls on holidays. Just being able to see their smiling faces is a very good thing. My projects for this theme were created with some products that were made available to Demonstrators who attended the On Stage At Home event online. One of the perks I really enjoy. I was able to purchase this collection ahead of the event and was able to create both of these cards before the event.
I don't know about you but I am always in need of Thank You cards. So that was my focus. The 1st one I did, on the right, I Stamped the large spray of flowers with Tuxedo Black Ink on Thick Whisper White Cardstock and colored them with my Watercolor Pencils. That was fun, I hadn't pulled those out in quite a while. I stamped the Sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I die cut the Sentiment & the Flower Spray with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I matted both of them on Mossy Meadow Cardstock, I had already punched out the Large Dragonflies on one sheet of the new Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper with the new Dragonflies Punch. I cut a Card Base from a sheet of Bumblebee Cardstock and added a Card Front from the Dandy Garden DSP. I also used a leftover Strip of that Card Front DSP on the bottom of my Inside Layer. I tied a bow around the bottom of the Flower Spray layer with the new Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim and popped it up on the Card Front with Dimensionals. I popped up the Sentiment layer with Dimensionals too. I chose a dragonfly with Bumblebee wings and added this to the Card Font. Do you see that cute little Lady Bug. It's just the right size for a Mini Glue Dot to apply it to your card.
For this card I've used my Ornate Layers Dies to die cut the Card Front from another one of the wonderful images available in the Dandy Garden DSP pack. I layered that die cut onto a Whisper White Stitched Rectangle. I Tied a bow around those layers. I wanted to pick up on the yellow dandelion so I used the other Bumblebee Card Base. I embossed a loft over Mossy Meadow piece of cardstock with a Greenery Embossing Folder and adhered that strip to theCard Base. I popped up my Card Front on the Card Base with Dimensionals. The Sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White and die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies.
I die cut another Tasteful Label on Bumblebee Cardstock, Cut this in half and adhered those pieces to the back of the Whisper White Sentiment Label allowing a little edge of the Bumblebee Label to show. I popped up the Assembled Sentiment Label onto the Card Front with Dimensionals. I adhered another Dragonfly to the Card Front with Dimensionals, tucking it under the Sentiment Label. And of course I added another Lady Bug.
These products are not available for Demonstrator Pre Order until December 1st. So if you would like to join my team now you too could take advantage of that Pre Order and you could also make purchases from the new Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog a part of your starter kit.
Now it is time to take a look at Susans Gratitude & Gatherings Inspiration.
