Welcome to the January 2023 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop!
For our 1st Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop of the year we have a sketch challenge with some Glimmer
& Shine. You will have to click on the image to see the Soft Succulent Fine Shimmer Paper that I used for the skinny stitched rectangle layer that I added to the ink blended card front layer. I used Evening Evergreen Ink and a large Blending Brush on a die cut I made with the background die from the Two-Tone Flora Dies. I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to die cut the card front. The flowers and leaf sprigs were stamped on Basic White Cardstock. The large flowers were stamped with Fresh Freesia & Rich Razzleberry Inks. The little flowers were stamped with So Saffron & Crushed Curry Inks. The leaf sprig was stamped with Evening Evergreen. The flowers and leaf sprigs were die cut with the Two-Tone flora Dies. The sentiment was stamped with Evening Evergreen Ink and die cut with the Something Fancy Dies. That little peek of color behind the sentiment label is a strip of Soft Succulent Cardstock that was die cut with the sentiment label die and then cut in half lengthwise. I then adhered these to the back of the sentiment label. The card front has been matted with Soft Succulent Cardstock. The 2 large flowers have been adhered to the assembled card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. The small flowers & leaf sprigs have bee adhered with Mini Glue Dots. The assembled sentiment label was adhered with a Glue Dot and 2 stacked Stampin' Dimensionals. The completed card front has been adhered to a Basic White Thick Card Base. I added a few Iridescent Pastel Gems to the card front.
I hope you enjoyed my take on this card sketch with some glimmer & shine challenge. And will think about using this sketch yourself. Card sketches are great inspiration. Now it is time to go and see how Tricia has used this challenge.
