Third Thursdays Blog Hop - Time Marches On

Welcome to the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop!

The theme for this month is: anything you want to do that you feel is relevant to the month of March. Could be memory pages, birthday card planner projects, or anything that is happening in your area of the world during March.

In my little corner of the world, Evergreen, CO, the month of March brought the Daylight Savings Time Change, I'm still having problems with this one. 3 feet of snow and one of my best friends birthday is at the end of this month as well as my own. Oh, and I will get my second dose of the vaccine too (yes, I will continue to wear a mask whenever I go out).

I have focused on the birthdays for March. I asked for a set of Apple Airpod Pros for my birthday this year. I really needed a new set of bluetooth ear buds. But I wanted some that would work with my iMac for my Zoom Classes. I can't wait until they get here. So, today I am sharing the birthday cards I made for myself and my friend. Yes, I did make my own this time plus it was a good excuse to use the All Things Fabulous Bundle, Happy Thoughts sentiment stamp set & the gorgeous sentiment label die from the Pierced Blooms Dies.

I love flower stamps & Dies. You can use them to highlight any occasion. The All Things Fabulous stamp set is a Three-Step stamp set. This means that the Lavender Rose has been stamped 3 times with 3 different stamps that create the depth of color that you see here. It is so much fun to play with. I stamped some of the leaf and flower bud sprigs directly on to the card front under that fabulous filigree die cut. Then embossed the card front with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. The die cut flowers are stamped in Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape and Bumblebee & Crushed Curry Inks. The die cut Leaf Sprigs are stamped in Old Olive Ink. The sentiments are stamped in Basic Gray ink.

I hope you like my take on this month's theme.
Now it is time to take a look at the March inspiration Susan has for you today.
